Haden

Haden Lookout

Picnic area, shelter shed. Crest of the Great Dividing Range. Scenic views over the headquarters of Emu Creek. Just north of Haden.

This small park has toddlers and childrens play equipment with shade, picnic facilities, a wood barbecue and a toilet. There is a 'history corner' in the park. A monument to the Australian Brush-turkey was erected in 2002.

Garveys Sports Ground

This sports facility has a field for football (soccer) and rugby league with dual posts. It also has multipurpose courts for tennis and basketball.

Cabarlah

Pioneer ParkPioneer Park

South of The Farmers Arms Hotel,

Barbecue, picnic area, drinking fountain, water tap.The Cabarlah Pioneer Bicentennial Memorial 1788-1988 - a tribute to the District's early settlers - can also be viewed at the park.

Shostaki Park

Shostaki Park, Cabarlah, QldMap

Located behind The Farmers Arms Hotel and the Highfields Mens Shed this green space provides a break-out area for local events. It has no park facilities.

Hampton

Chapman Park

This small park has a fenced chidren's palyground. It is a popular spot for visitors to stop. Its mature trees provide excellent shade. 8623 New England Highway, Hampton, Qld Map

Next to a Main Roads Rest Area: camping for 20 hours is allowed.

A restaurant and corner store can be found on the other side of the New England Highway.

The Hampton Visitor Information Centre is in the park.

Ravensbourne

Ravensbourne Recreation Reserve

This sports park features two tennis courts, a cricket oval, a small club house and toilets.

This is a popular rest stop for travellers between Esk and Hampton.

It is the home of the Ravensbourne Sporting Association

Ravensbourne Landcare (Contact 07 4697 8047) have done much rehabilitation work and have spent some time surveying flora and fauna.
