Program

10:00 am
 Market Stalls open.

10:30 am
Toowoomba Municipal Brass Band. Centenary Park

11:00 am
 Grand Parade. Floats decorated in the theme start in St Matthews Church Hall grounds Esk St Crow Nest Qld Map, and travel via Esk St, William St, around behind the Grand Old Crow Hotel into Emu Creek Rd, William St, Charlotte St, through the Tyre Service back to Esk St.

High Country Community Band

11:30 am  Rides open.

11:45 am Dance display. uDance Academy.

12:15 pm  Ukulele group.
             Bootscooters.

12:45 am
Crows Nest School Band

1:00 pm  Pie eating competition. Meats and More and Crows Nest Soft Drinks.

1:30 pm  Entertainment.  "Me, Myself and I" .

2:30 pm  Cruise Mechanical Picnic Races.  3-legged race; egg and spoon race; sack race; hobby horses; gum-boot throw.
        Watermelon distribution. IGA.

3:00 pm  Human Worm Races. Brasha Earthworks.
           Whip Cracking. Pechey Distilling Company

3:30 pm  Tug of War. Cannon Trailers.
            Crow Calling.

4:15 pm  Hay Stacking. Property Management Products.

5:00 pm  Grand Old Crow Cup. World championship worm race.

5:30 pm  Entertainment. "Special Guest".
           Lions Club evening menu.
           Raffle Draw.

7:30 pm  Fireworks.
            Rides Close.
            Market Stalls close.

 

All day Carnival rides to suit all ages. 11:30 am until 7:30 pm. Cha Cha / Sizzler; Hampton Bike Ride; Kids Train, Bungee trampolines; Kids Ferris Wheel; Jumping Castle; Giant Slide.
                 Laser Skirmish.  11:30 am until 5:30 pm.
Purchase of a wrist band for $10 entitles each child to rides or laser skirmish all day. $2 for a single ride.
                 Children's worm races (free).
                 Face Painting (gold coin donation). Crows Nest Childcare Centre.
                 Family Raffle.
                 Bar Grand Old Crow. Soft Drinks Scouts

Crows Nest Day is part of the 10 day Crows Nest Community Festival, with many events arranged by local organisations.

Stalls

A limited number of food stalls near the circle.
Lions Barbecue from 11 am until 7:30 Pm. Special menu after 5 pm.
Food vouchers for volunteers.
Local market stalls.
Snack food near the rides.
Family raffle - tickets $1.
Some shops around the park will remain open.

Site fee $20 for 3x3 metres, $40 for 6x3, $50 for food vendors. $10 extra for power.

Bar organised by the Grand Old Crow Hotel.
Crows Nest Soft Drinks will open all day.

Road Closures

William St next to Centenary Park for Historic Motor Cycle Club.
Northern half of Charlotte St for stall-holder parking.
Highway next to Park for duration of the Parade only.(Parking in St Matthews Catholic Church grounds Esk St for a gold coin donation.)

Antique Fair

The Darling Downs Antique Bottle & Collectables Club Inc. will run an Antique Fair from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Community centre. See Crows Nest Antiques Fair
Entry charge $4 (12 yrs and under free).
