The Hampton Visitor Information Centre is housed in a building which is 112 years old.

It was donated by the Reushle family who immigrated to Australia in 1888 and settled in the Ravensbourne area in 1894.

The family occupied the home and land until Christian Reushle’s death in 1986.  He had lived in the home without electricity or running water until this time.
